    UK Council for Graduate Education

    Owen is the director of the UK Council for Graduate Education (UKCGE), which promotes excellence in postgraduate education. He believes passionately that a vibrant postgraduate sector is a public good. His previous role was as programme director for an educational charity, where he ran a programme of research and events aimed at building interdisciplinary collaborations on a range of social policy issues. Owen has a PhD in philosophy, and has taught at Birkbeck, King’s College London, and Royal Holloway.
