    Dominican Friar

    Peter is a Dominican Friar, with a background in mathematics, physics and philosophy, whose current research interests are in the philosophy of physics, biology and anthropology. His publications explore the phenomenon of life, the nature of thought and will, and the question of machine intelligence. He lectures on the philosophy of mind and of religion, and on logic, and has also written on the relationship of science and religion and on Wittgenstein and Aquinas. He has been involved in public discussions with Sir Roger Penrose on platonism and mathematics, and with Professor Lewis Wolpert on science, ethics and religion.
