Rachel has written on politics and culture for publications including the Financial Times, Independent and New Statesman. She has interviewed major international figures including Gorbachev and Kissinger, and has written on subjects ranging from Macron’s digital campaign to the perils of owning a dalmatian. Her first novel, The Optickal Illusion – a very eighteenth century scandal, inspired by a James Gillray cartoon, will be out early next year.
