    Ramona Koval is a writer, journalist and broadcaster. She is the presenter of The Book Show on ABC Radio National each weekday. Her programs are broadcast nationally on Radio National, internationally through Radio Australia, and podcast on the Internet to an audience worldwide. Her latest book is “Speaking Volumes; conversations with remarkable writers, Scribe, 2010. In this collection she interview writers from all over the world of the stature of Joseph Heller, Saul Bellow, Harold Pinter and Normal Mailer. She has been invited to be an interviewer for public events at international literary festivals - Edinburgh, Montreal, Wellington, Berlin, Cheltenham - and across Australia. She has written features and columns for newspapers including The Age and The Weekend Australian, writing on issues of the day. She makes documentary features for radio, which have been broadcast both by the ABC and the BBC. Her essays and transcripts of her interviews have been published in Australian magazines as well as overseas. She is the author of a novel (Samovar, Minerva) and three books of non-fiction, including a Jewish Cook Book (Jewish Cooking, Jewish Cooks – New Holland Press, 2001).
