    Richard has over 25 years experience as a teacher, consultant, trainer, researcher and programme manager, mainly specialising in the fields of education for global citizenship and inter-cultural relations. He has worked for governments, NGOs and the commercial sector in over a dozen countries to support social change and community development, especially across North Africa and the Near East. Closer to home, he has been judging Debating Matters competitions since 2012, and is currently an adviser to Greater Manchester schools for the UK government’s Global Learning Programme.
