Robin worked for 35 years as a reporter – 25 of them spent at the BBC latterly on the Today programme. He left to write a book - Can We Trust the BBC? Since then Robin has worked as a freelance - occasionally even for the BBC which shows what a forgiving organisation it can be! Whilst working freelance he also started up The Oxford Food Bank – a fresh food rescue service – which now delivers millions of pounds worth of food free every year to charities in Oxfordshire. He was awarded an MBE for that work. Robin is currently working on an investigative TV project as well as other writing. He has lived in Oxford for 30 years and is married with two grown up daughters.
