Sally started her career as a journalist and then took nine years off to have children. She then worked as campaigns officer and subsequently Director of Communications at the Family and Parenting Institute. She will shortly be taking up the post of head of public policy at Victim Support. Sally stood at the 2010 general election for the Labour Party in South Leicestershire.
