Simon directs the King’s Centre for Military Health Research, is the Civilian Consultant Advisor in Psychiatry for the British Army and is Vice Dean of the Institute of Psychiatry. His main research interests are the boundaries between medicine and psychiatry, military health, unexplained symptoms and syndrome, clinical trials and epidemiology. He spends most of his time however drinking coffee and arguing.
