    West of England Aerospace Forum

    Simon has over 30 years’ diverse experience in the aerospace and defence environment, including senior Project and P&L leadership roles with multinationals including BAE Systems and GE Aviation.  Simon’s other roles have included being a fast-jet pilot and senior officer in the Royal Air Force, as well as a qualified teacher in Economics & Business at secondary education level. The West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF) represents the aerospace and advanced engineering sector in the West of England region and aims to champion the sector by working in collaboration with partners like UKTI, Local Enterprise Partnerships, and other regional aerospace alliances to provide critical services that support business growth and improvement, international collaboration, and export and marketing opportunities. It also works tirelessly to share best practice and showcase the sector through their Aerospace/Defence and Advanced Engineering events.
