Tamer currently runs a production company and creates films and associated products for corporate and private clients across a variety of industries, ranging from investment banking to video game publishers and developers. Trained as a journalist, Tamer started his career as the editor of his student newspaper and as director of the student radio station winning a Guardian Media Award for best small budget publication before moving to the BBC where he was a reporter and producer for local radio, Radio 2 and the BBC World Service Arabic. During his time he won two Gillard Awards and a Sony Award for his production work. Tamer now delivers exciting content for his clients, matching professional journalistic standards with cutting edge creativity. He is a big promoter of gaming and technology and consults with game developers and publishers on the Arabic localisation of games. Tamer is also the owner and editor in chief of ArabicGamers, the first website in the world to provided quality Arabic content to Arabic speaking audiences in both English and Arabic. From March 2016, he has been producing ‘The Radio Hustle’ with Alexis Conran on Saturdays at new station, talkRADIO.
