    St Mary’s University, Twickenham

    Trevor was a general practitioner in South West London for 27 years before going into full-time academia in 2010. Having previously directed the Masters programme in bioethics and medical law at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, he is now Reader in Bioethics and Director of the Centre for Bioethics and Emerging Technologies. He has published over 60 academic papers, numerous book chapters and three books. His most recent work appears in Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide: Lessons from Belgium published by Cambridge University Press. His current research interests are in the ethical acquisition of organs for transplantation and the use of poetry in medical and bioethical teaching. He is a trustee of Family Education Trust, is married with three children and his passions beyond family, faith and work include opera, theatre and ballroom dancing
