Trevor was a general practitioner in South West London for 27 years up to 2010 when he went into full-time academia. He previously directed the Masters programme in bioethics and medical law at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, where he has just been appointed senior lecturer in Bioethics. He has published over 60 academic papers, numerous book chapters and three books, Saving Sex being the most recent. His current research interests are the ethical acquisition of organs for transplantation and the pedagogy and practice of using poetry in medical and bioethical teaching. He is a trustee of Family Education Trust, is married with three children and his passions beyond family, faith and work include opera, theatre and ballroom dancing.
