Tristan has only recently been appointed his post at Norwich BioScience Institutes. His academic career began in Scotland studying experimental pathology, clinical pharmacology and a PhD in Biochemistry at the National CJD Surveillance unit in Edinburgh before moving south. Following a post-doctoral position he explored education, settling on a PGCE in Secondary Science at Durham University followed by a variety of teaching and lecturing positions.
