Virginia is part of a European team at Pfizer to develop strategy and analysis for evidence-based policy engagement in support of all of their Business Units and country teams. She joined Pfizer in March 2008 to take a lead on innovation policy in the UK, but now also addresses a wide range of issues including biosimilars and the future economic burden of cancer. Before joining Pfizer, she was an academic at Imperial College Business School working on innovation strategy and collaborative practice. Virginia has held posts at a number of universities, including a lectureship at the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex, and a post-doc at the London Business School.
